About the Periodical
Research Progress in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (RPMME) is a single-blind, peer-reviewed periodical that publishes 2 times a year (May and November), focusing on original, innovative research that advances the field of mechanical and manufacturing engineering.
The scope of the RPMME is the presentation of new, significantly improved technical areas of engineering, including mechanical systems and structures, thermo-fluid, design, control systems, materials, industrial and manufacturing, aeronautic and aerospace engineering, and other scientific disciplines. This is typically accomplished through advanced experimental and numerical modeling reflecting a combination of concepts, methods and principles which are often interdisciplinary in nature and span several areas of physics, mechanics, mathematics, computational methods and other scientific disciplines as well: the Journal seeks to emphasize methods that cross disciplinary boundaries for clarifying mechanical and manufacturing engineering.
This includes research conducted in academia, industry, and a variety of other sectors. The emphasis is on originality, timeliness and quality and, as exemplified by the title of the journal and the qualifications described. Relevance to real-world problems and industrial applications is regarded as a strength.
Contributions may be full-length research and review manuscripts or short communications of no more than 10 printed pages. Short contributions are likely to benefit from rapid publication in the separate category of Short Communications. Published conference papers are welcome provided the submitted manuscript is a significant enhancement of the conference paper with a substantial addition
